Many donors like to create scholarships so that deserving students can pursue an education they might not otherwise receive. Scholarships are time consuming to administer and must comply with specific legal requirements. The M&M Area Community Foundation's expertise in this field makes it a natural repository and manager of scholarship funds. The following scholarship funds have been established with the Foundation: Anchor Coupling Scholarship Fund - Recipient(s) must be a child or ward of an employee at Anchor Coupling for post-secondary education. Please see the Human Resources Department at Anchor Coupling to apply. Larry Biehl Family Scholarship Fund - Provides scholarships for graduating seniors from Marinette, Menominee, and St. Thomas Aquinas Academy for expenses at a two year accredited technical school. A grade point average of 2.5 and 20 hours of volunteer service (not school related) is required. To apply for this scholarship, please visit the guidance office at the high schools mentioned above. Robyn Ryan Brandt Engineering Scholarship Fund- Provides scholarships for graduating seniors from Menominee High School, MI; Marinette, Peshtigo, Crivitz, and Gillett High Schools, WI pursuing an engineering degree. To apply for this scholarship, please visit the guidance office at the high schools mentioned above or fill out the application and return it to your high school guidance office by the deadline. Corey M. Bresnahan Scholarship Fund Sara Bretl Scholarship Fund - Provides a scholarship to a graduating senior from Menominee High School and has been accepted to either a 2-year or 4-year accredited college, university or technical school pursuing a career in the medical field. To apply for this scholarship, please visit the guidance office at Menominee High School. John J. and Virginia M. Bushell Campau Scholarship Fund - Provides a scholarship to a graduating senior from Menominee High School showing financial need and has been accepted to a 4 year accredited college or university. The scholarship will be awarded for 4 years to the same student as long as they maintain a grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale. This scholarship will not be awarded in 2009. Ruth E. Caylor Scholarship Fund- Provides scholarships to graduating seniors from Menominee High School pursuing post-secondary education at a college or university in the field of elementary education. Davis, RN Scholarship Fund - Scholarship awarded to a student attending Bellin School of Nursing based on scholastic achievement and need of students. This scholarship will not be awarded in 2009. Elly Demerath Scholarship Fund – Scholarship to a Marinette High School senior pursuing a Registered Nursing (RN) degree at a post secondary institution. Dickinson Family Scholarship Fund – One year scholarships to families with more than one student matriculating at Menominee Catholic Central School. Please visit the office at Menominee Catholic Central to apply. This scholarship will not be awarded in 2009. Carl G. Erickson & H. Lucille Erickson Scholarship Fund - Scholarships for needy and capable graduating seniors from Menominee High School pursuing a post-secondary education. To apply for this scholarship, please visit the guidance office at Menominee High School. RW Fernstrum Scholarship Fund - Recipient must be a child or ward of an employee of RW Fernstrum & Co. for post-secondary education. Renewable: specific requirements. Erwin and Katherine Fischer Scholarship Fund - Provides a scholarship to a current graduating senior from Marinette High School in good standing. Qualified applicant must have a cumulative minimum 3.5 GPA, be accepted for full-time enrollment at a fully accredited 4-year college or university and performed significant community service. To apply for this scholarship, please visit the guidance office at Marinette High School. This scholarship will not be awarded in 2009. Great Lakes Custom Tool Manufacturing Scholarship Fund-Provides scholarships for graduating seniors from Peshtigo High School pursuing a Bachelors degree in engineering or a 2-year machining program. Hugh & Mary Higley Scholarship Fund- Provides one or more scholarships to a UW-Marinette student that qualifies as "non"-traditional. Specific requirements. Otis & Agnes Knuth Scholarship Fund - One-time scholarships for graduating seniors from Marinette High School, Menominee High School or St. Thomas Aquinas Academy, pursuing post-secondary education at either UW/Marinette or NWTC/Marinette. To apply for this scholarship, please visit the guidance office at the high schools mentioned above or fill out the application and return it to your high school guidance office by the deadline. Sara Murray Lambrecht Scholarship Fund- Provides scholarships for woman between the ages of 18 and 30 years who are attending or will attend a four year college or university. Specific requirements. To apply for this scholarship, please visit the student services office at UW-Marinette. This scholarship will not be awarded in 2009. Marinette Kiwanis Scholarship Fund - Awarded to a graduating senior from Marinette High School in good academic standing who plans to attend any Wisconsin college or technical school. To apply for this scholarship, please visit the guidance office at Marinette High School. Menominee Class of 1957 Scholarship Fund - Awarded to a graduating senior from Menominee High School who has performed significant community service, has a minimum grade point average of 2.5, and is attending an accredited college, university, or technical school for either a 2 or 4 year program. Menomnee Class of 1959 Scholarshp Fund - Awarded to a graduating senior from Menominee High School who has performed significant community service and is attending an accredited college, university, or technical school for either a 2 or 4 year program. Menominee Rotary Club/Don Estebo Scholarship Fund – Scholarship for a graduating senior from Menominee High School. Mundt Scholarship Fund - Scholarship to a Menominee High School graduate attending Michigan Technological University to pursue (first choice) engineering, (second choice) medicine or healthcare. George & Emma Raboin Scholarship Fund- Provides a scholarship to Carney Nadeau High School, MI senior attending a post-secondary institution. Radford & Anne Radford Decker Scholarship Fund - One year scholarship to a graduating senior from Menominee High School pursuing post-secondary education at a recognized four-year degree granting college or university. Mary L. Staudenmaier Scholarship Fund - Provides a scholarship for children of employees and/or an employee of Stephenson National Bank & Trust and are residents of Marinette and/or Menominee counties for post-secondary education. Mary L. Staudenmaier Community Service Scholarship Fund - Awarded to students who have completed a minimum of 15 university credits and are planning to attend UW-Marinette for the fall semester and are planning to make a difference in the world. Max & Katherine Tausheck Scholarship Fund - College or technical school scholarship for graduating seniors from Menominee High School. Michael & Annette Tonn Scholarship Fund - Awarded to a graduating senior from Peshtigo High School who has participated in high school sports and is active in community service and other extra curricular activities. Townsend Memorial Scholarship Fund - One-year scholarships for graduating seniors from Wausaukee High School, WI pursuing post-secondary education at a recognized institution of higher learning. Stupak Memorial Fund - Awarded to a graduating senior from Menominee High School who has demonstrated leadership skills at MHS or in the community and is attending a 2 or 4-year degree program.
