The Classic Sponsored by The Stephenson National Bank & Trust 

The Classic sponsored by The Stephenson National Bank & Trust raised nearly $15,000 to support the operations of the M&M Area Community Foundation on Saturday, June 20th at North Shore Golf Club.  The golf & dinner event kicked off with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. followed by lunch and awards.  Participants returned for a cocktail hour, silent auction & sit-down dinner at 6:30 p.m.  A live auction followed dinner. 

First place in the championship flight with a 54 was the team of Kevin Jaklin, Wendy Suchovsky, Bill Langlois and Kim Langlois.  A close second place with a 58 was the twosome of Rick O’Farrell and Steve Lang.  Coming in third with a 59 was the team of Greg Salmen, Kadie Truitt, Larry and Susan Valencic. 

In the second flight, first place went to the team of Tom and Sandy Cox and Bill & Annetta Hultman with a score of 63.  Coming in at second place with a score of 63 were Sam and Debbi Hofer & Glenn and Debbie Rankinen.  Third place went to Mary Staudenmaier, Earl Dougovito and Doug and Jane Oitzinger with a 64.

Event Chairmen Arthur Baron and Larry Valencic were pleased with outcome of the first annual golf and dinner fundraiser.  They would like to thank The Stephenson National Bank & Trust for sponsoring such a wonderful event.  They would also like to thank all who participated in the event, purchased a table, donated to the auctions or sponsored a tee/green.  Special thanks to the Community Events Committee of the Foundation for all of their hard work in making the event a huge success.
