BRATS FOR BREAKFAST 2010 DECLARED A TASTY SUCCESS

At the dawn of a chilly April 22nd, many dedicated M&M Area Community Foundation volunteers descended upon two separate grilling stations in Menominee, MI to prepare hundreds of bratwursts for the hungry people of our communities.

 Board Directors, committee members, office staff, and community volunteers all played different roles in ensuring the event was successful. Some tended the grill and vending table at media partner organziation Bay Cities Radio. Others worked filling and delivering the over 800 pre-orders for the tasty sausages out of the M&M Area Community Foundation Office. But all agreed the brats were terriffic and the event was wonderful. Remarked one fan, who had walked up to the Bay Cities Radio location, "They're delicious! I love Brats For Breakfast!"

In total, over 1300 brats were sold, and over $2700 was raised for the M&M Area Community Foundation. Special thanks to our staff, all our excellent volunteers, Bay Cities Radio, 41 Market, Angeli's Foods, Schloegel's Restaurant, A&W of Menominee, and Lynne Rynish, and everyone who participated.
