Oil Change

2008 Annual Oil Change Fundraiser

On May 17th, The Motor Company hosted a Celebration Event concluding the 7th Annual M&M Area Community Foundation Oil Change Fundraiser.  The event was a huge success, raising more than $4,600 to support the Foundation.  Participants who purchased an oil change were able to redeem them any time between April 1st and the day of the event.  Those who chose to attend the event enjoyed refreshments, door prizes, and a bucket raffle.  The Motor Company donated the labor of performing the oil and filter changes as long as the vehicle owner made a minimum donation to the M&M Area Community Foundation.

Supports were also able to purchase a package including an oil and filter change and car wash coupon donated by City Limits Convenience Store and Car Wash.  As a special bonus, each person who purchased an oil change ticket was entered into a drawing to two tickets to the Foundation’s Tailgate Party Fundraiser in October.

“We want to thank all of our supporters especially Jim Beyer, Bob Juul, Carol Eisenzoph and their staff for putting together such a creative fundraiser,” said Rick O’Farrell, Foundation Executive Director.  “They devoted a lot of individual time and resources to this event.  It was a wonderful boost for the Foundation.”

The service area of the M&M Area Community Foundation covers Marinette and Menominee counties.  The Foundation awarded more than $208,000 in grants and scholarships during fiscal year 2007. Since 1997, the Foundation has given back more than $1,100,000 to the community in the form of grants and scholarships. The Foundation now has more than $6 million in assets under administration.
