M&M Area Community Foundation announces Gilbert Brown as the celebrity guest at the Tailgate Party Fundraiser

Packer Great Gilbert Brown will be the celebrity guest at the M&M Area Community Foundation’s annual Tailgate Party on Friday, September 15th at Schusslers Supper Club on County Highway B in Peshtigo. The Tailgate Party is held the night before the M&M game. This year is the 100th anniversary of the rivalry, which is one of the longest running inter-state rivalries in the country!

Social hour begins at 5:00p.m. A buffet dinner will be served at 6:00p.m., followed by raffles, silent and live auctions and entertainment. Tickets to the event cost $25 and are available at the Foundation office, 1101 11th Avenue, Menominee.

This year the Foundation is also putting together a commemorative booklet including history of the M&M Game, statistics, and photos to be distributed at the event. This is a great opportunity for classes! If your class is interested in purchasing and ad in the booklet, please contact the Foundation office at 906-864-3599. Ads, table reservations and tickets can also be purchased over the phone.

Live auction items include, Kabeer Gbaja Biamila autographed jersey, Aaron Kampman autographed football, a set of Adirondack chairs, Lloyd Flanders furniture, Firestone Tires and much more! Raffle tickets are currently being sold; three for $5 or seven for $10. First prize is a pearl necklace with a diamond and pearl onyx enhancer from Feldstein Jewelers, second prize is a 27” TV from Sound Seller and third prize is $250 cash. Partygoers will also be able to purchase mini footballs to have signed by Gilbert Brown.
