Our Mission
To encourage and provide opportunities for charitable giving,
to manage and distribute the funds in a responsible manner, and to
enhance the quality of life for people with a primary focus in Menominee
and Marinette Counties.
Established nearly
one year ago, the Peshtigo Area Foundation generated enough
interest and financial support to start awarding grants and recently
concluded
its first grant cycle. At the awards ceremony on Sunday, April
29th, Mr. & Mrs.
Tim Rennes announced that they will match
donations
received
to the
Peshtigo Area Foundation dollar for
dollar up to $10,000.

awarding
grant money generated by permanent funds entrusted to the Foundation
by individuals and organizations who want to make a difference today
and forever.
The Foundation awarded $224,746 in grants, awards
and scholarships during fiscal year 2006. Since 1997, the Foundation
has
given back more than
$1,100,000 to the community in the form of grants and scholarships.
The Foundation now has more than $5.2 million in assets under administration.
Individuals who are
looking for a way to give back to their community or to a particular
organization will
find that the M&M Area Community
Foundation can provide the exact vehicle to fulfill their intentions.
Contributions can be made to a number of existing funds or a new fund
can be established for a particular interest. If you are interested
