Motor Company Fund Raiser 2006

The 2006 Oil Change Fundraiser was a huge success bringing in $3,115 to help support the operations of the Foundation. This is a 25% increase over last years proceeds. This year we had 65 oil changes and added a bucket raffle.

Quick Silver Broadcast brought in curious listeners with an 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. live radio broadcast on scene. They did on air interviews with past grant recipients. The event was the most successful so far. This was the fifth annual fundraiser The Motor Company has sponsored, and heartfelt thanks go out to Jim Beyer, Bob Juul, Carol Eisenzoph and their staff, who gave up their own time for the event.

Feldstein Jewelers donated jewelry to be used to recognize the two most generous donors of the day. City Limits Car Wash donated 125 carwash tokens to help the cause.

Members of the Foundation Board, Community Events Committee, and Youth Advisory Committee gave up their Saturday to help out. A special thanks goes to YACers Ashton Weigel, Sarah Bradford, Casey Hoffman, Alex Dolliver, Caitlin Sevener, and Kellie Becker.
