Are you eligible to apply?

• Eligible applicants for funding include the following types of organizations whichsupport residents of Marinette and/or Menominee Counties.
  • a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization
  • a department of a municipal, county or state government
  • a hospital, school (public or private), or department/program thereof
  • a religious organization

• Your application will require the attachment of an IRS Letter of Determination or the organization’s most recent Form 990 to support tax-exempt status.

• Grants are not provided for the following:
  • On-going operating expenses
  • Annual fundraising campaigns
  • Political campaigns
  • Individuals
  • Expenses incurred prior to grant application submission

• Your organization may only apply twice during this grant cycle. Each application must be submitted individually.

• If your organization received a grant in 2016, your Grant Recap or Grant Progress Report MUST have been submitted to be eligible to apply now.

GRANTING AREAS:

Alcohol And Other Drugs – The AAOD fund focuses on programs and projects which increase awareness, provide educational materials and resources, assist law enforcement, support treatment programs as well as other needs related to alcohol and other drug abuse.

Community Wide – This granting area covers programs impacting a wide variety of issues and needs throughout Marinette and Menominee counties.

Health – The Community Health Care Fund provides grants to organizations impacting the health and wellness of those in our communities.

Homelessness Prevention Services - The purpose of this fund is to provide financial support for homelessness prevention programs which implement innovative strategies to prevent homelessness in Marinette and Menominee counties.

Peshtigo Area – The Peshtigo Area Foundation Fund provides grants for programs and projects that specifically impact the Peshtigo area.

Youth Advisory Committee – YAC is accepting applications for youth programs and projects that address drugs, alcohol and bullying. These three issues have been identified as having a significant impact on our youth.  

Your application must be completed within one hour or the session will time out and your application will not be saved or submitted.
