ROARING 20’s GOLF & ENTERTAINMENT EVENT TO BENEFIT THE M&M AREA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION.

The M&M Area Community Foundation presents The Classic 2012 Roaring 20’s Charity Golf & Dinner Event.  The area’s most fun golf event of the summer will be held on Friday August 10th at Riverside Golf Club in Menominee, MI and promises to bring local golfers and friends together to have a “roaring 20’s” good time and support the work and mission of the MMACF. 

Registration for the 18-hole, 4-person golf scramble begins at 12:00 pm with a shotgun start at 1:00 pm. The course will feature 8 events, including Men’s and Women’s Longest Drive, a featured game called Al Capone’s Vault, and a Hole-In-One Contest for a brand new HD TV.

After golf, there will be a short break and social hour starting at 5:00 pm, with dinner buffet being served at 6:00 pm. Dancing and entertainment for the evening will follow at 7:00 with a local jazz band, dancing, an old time picture booth and a host of other games and events, all keeping with the Roaring 20’s theme.

The cost for the dinner is $50 per person, and the cost for golf is $60 per person.  The golf includes on course snacks and refreshments, a golf cart, and a Goodie Bag. The cost for dinner and golf is $110 per person. Tables for 8 may be reserved for $500, and tables for 6 may be reserved for $400. Tables purchased by businesses or individuals will be decorated with a sign advertising the sponsor’s name.  Tee and green sponsorships are also available for $150.

The MMACF has granted more than two million dollars to our Twin Counties in the form of contributions and scholarships.  The Foundation also manages 136 various funds with endowed assets of about six million dollars.  The M&M Area Community Foundation seeks to encourage and provide opportunities for charitable giving, to manage and distribute funds in a responsible manner, and to enhance the quality of life for people in Marinette and Menominee Counties.
