May 2015 - The M&M Area Community Foundation Youth Advisory Committee has awarded 18 grants to community organizations across Marinette and Menominee counties totaling $21,000.00 dollars. The grants will directly support youth programming and services throughout the area.
“For nearly 20 years, the M&M Area Community Foundation’s Youth Advisory Committee members (YAC) have donated their time, talents and resources to the betterment of Marinette and Menominee youth programs,” said Paula Gruszynski, MMACF Executive Director.
Organizations receiving a 2015 grant from the foundation will be recognized at the annual Celebration of Giving event sponsored by the M&M Area Community Foundation on Thursday, June 4th.
“I feel very privileged to be part of an organization so committed to young people in our communities", said Gunther DeDames, President of the Youth Advisory Committee. "We have granted close to $290,000 in the years we have been participating and I know it makes a difference!" The following organizations will be receiving a grant:

- Great Lakes Fisherman Kid’s Derby
- DAR Boys and Girls Club
- Abundant Life Church

- Rainbow House
- River Cities Pool
- Pembine Area Christians Youth Center
- UW Marinette Children’s Theatre
- Stephenson Public Library
- Suicide Prevention Network
